Honestly I found y'all by chance I ordered the Mini Kadet and I added the stabilizer strap to make it more secure, it fits like a glove, moves really well with me, and for any short day outing its perfect.
Sunglasses, portable charger, the straps can hold an umbrella if necessary keeping both my hands free which I am a huge fan of. It's just the right size and form factor. I'm kinda particular about my things and it passes which is a very small list. I don't have a story per se. Current use for the bag is for Daggerhart role playing I keep my character sheet dice pens and pencils notebook and rolling tray. Recently I updated to a seatbelt buckle and I'm excited for that feel. TLDR: It's a cool little bag.

I’ve been a Chrome bag fanatic over 20 years. My current two heavy rotation bags are the Kadet MAX Night and the silver mini cross body that has since been retired (love the silver). I am a Beauty Executive and my bag has to be full of laptops, planners, makeup, and general nonsense. It has to be black and nearly impossible to destroy. It has to get through TSA in a moments notice and be ready to jump in and out of ride shares like a champ and on the weekend it better be strong enough to hit the Pittsburgh bike trails for a few miles in rain or shine.
I love Chrome because even in my business life it allows me to be an individual that feels ready for anything. At one point I had a Chrome pack and I was in Philly and had to take my friends tire to be trued. I was able to use the straps to wrap the rim onto my backpack and ride all the way to Treehouse Cycles from the West Philly with no problem! Thank you guys for all the great bags! If you ever make a museum, let me know cause I have a crazy group of retired bags.

My (wife's) bag story: She and I worked at a home improvement store in 2010 in boys town in Chicago while I was in grad school. Another employee had a Chrome Citizen bag he carried everyday on his bike commute. She always commented on how cool and functional the bag looked.
So for Christmas, despite being a broke grad student living paycheck to paycheck, I ordered her a green medium Citizen. 15 years later, that bag is her daily purse. No matter the event. Going to the store, professional business function, wedding, you name it.
It is still holding up, albeit some wear and tear. But it still garners interest and compliments!
